It is a good simulation game but not for a new player. It's hard to control without a joystick and basic flying knowledge
This is not a game you can pick up and start dominating in within a few minutes. You need to dedicate hours upon hours learning the airframe you want to excel in, and stick to it.
If you're a fan of aviation, and have a lot of spare time to kill looking through manuals and watching tutorials on youtube, this might be a game for you.

The best and the most realistic flight simulator out there. Simple. Nothing is better than this. Planes well worth the cash.
DCS is really aimed at the simulator market. You need a full HOTAS to get the most out of it. If wanting an arcade experience this game isn't for you.

By adding realism through immersion, this vr extra accessory is a worthy investment towards your fun and leisure time.
This game is very in depth so a flight joystick controller and head tracking device like track IR or virtual reality headset is pretty much a requirement. If you do own a flight controller I cannot recommend this more.
Overall, I'd recommend DCS to anyone interested in military flight combat sims, or even pilots looking for a game that they'd be really good at.
