I am in the 'elder senior' age group and I LOVE VR thanks to my son introducing me to his Oculus.  My husband and I ran out and bought the Valve Index that had just come out after being shown the awesomeness of VR.

Us older folks can enjoy the delightful experience VR while benefiting with increased fitness and brain function.  The instant virtual vacations also reduce stress and anxiety by escaping the everyday.
